Paleo Potpourri

Jacob and I are still working out the finer details of February's 30-day Paleo challenge (e.g., scoring and prizes); however, below are some helpful resources for meal planning. Start getting excited about this opportunity to hone your culinary skills, feel great, and sleep more soundly. The challenge will run from Wednesday, February 1 through Thursday, March 1 (which means you can start re-incorporating non-Paleo foods on Friday, March 2). We will be following the Whole30 simply because the rules on what you can and can't eat while on the challenge are very clear. Plus, in the year since Jacob and I completed our first Whole30, the amount of resources on the Whole 9's website have increased greatly, which will help you through the month. Our biggest tip: focus on the variety of things that you CAN eat while on the challenge and find those go-to foods for in-between meal times. And now, onto how to make yummy Paleo meals:

The Clothes Make the Girl: This woman knows how to make food packed with flavor! While these recipes tend to take a little longer in the prep department, they almost always pay off for the taste buds.

The Food Lovers' Primal Palate: Not only is this site so, so pretty, the recipes are so, so yummy. Be sure to double-check ingredients for Whole30 compliance. Some have sugar, in one form or another :(

Mark's Daily Apple: A veritable cornucopia of paleo recipes.

Everyday Paleo: Because this woman has a family, she knows how to make quick, easy dishes. This is also where I get a lot of my snack and lunch ideas because of what she packs for her kids!
