Paleo is happening everywhere! I left my NOAA office in St. Petersburg, FL, nearly two years ago. The first time I went through The Whole30 I got many a weird look and many sarcastic comments (IMAGINE!) from co-workers and friends. Now, I hear through the grapevine that there are some who have experimented with the caveman way for weight loss and for health reasons. These folks experienced success (e.g., emotional health, pregnancy, or reduced arthritis symptoms) and discovered what we all know -- real food is the best food for feeling great and looking great. As I continue tabulating last week's scoresheets, many of you are doing fantastic with the challenge! Results will be posted on Tuesday. Keep up the enthusiasm, and keep leaning on each other for meal ideas, tips, tricks, and support. Personally, it's great to be home. Paleo got very difficult toward the end of my week in the Caribbean and I don't recommend living off restaurant meals to get you through strict Paleo. I'm glad to get back on the horse full time here at home with all of you!
