When you see a WOD and the weight assigned to a lift looks heavy, that means the weight is supposed to be heavy for the WOD. Which also means the WOD is supposed to be a grind. Which means it's supposed to take longer. When you see WODs with weights that seem light or manageable, then it means you're supposed to rip through the WOD more quickly (e.g., 75/55 or 95/65).
Today's WOD is a hero WOD, which is intentionally longer and heavier and more of a grind. Hero WODs remind of what/who we have lost and what/who we still have - as free individuals and as a free country. Respect the weight and respect the work. And never, ever give up.
