From Left to Right: Paige, Jake, Ed, and Kelli ready to compete at Saturday's Festivus Games in Moline
Saturday was a funday across the board for our Warrior Athletes. Coach Sarah held down the fort at WCFM while Coach Jacob cheered on Paige, Jake, Ed, and Kelli at the Festivus Games at CrossFit MoTown in Moline. Records were set across the board!

At WCFM, Kyle smashed "Grace" (30 clean & jerks at 135#) with a time of 3:12 and he didn't even look tired at the end. In fact, he thought he might have missed reps because he finished so quickly. Fortunately, his count was accurate.

At the Festivus Games, three of our athletes set new PRs on their clean and jerk during the first WOD. Paige proved that her attention to technique pays off with a new 3 rep max at 80 pounds. Jake PR'd at 155# on the clean and jerk, then repeated that weight 2 more times! Ed hoisted 235# 3 times, which placed him in 3rd after the first event. And Kelli lifted 135# 3 times, tying for 2nd after first event. Our athletes placed after 3 WODs overall as follows:

Paige Bales (Novice Division): 27th out of 29
Kelli Kirchner (Intermediate Division): 9th out of 17 (a top ten finish!)
Jacob Dierks (Novice Division): 4th out of 12 (1 point away from tying for 3rd!)
Ed Steinke (Intermediate Division): 15th out of 47

Congratulations to all of our athletes for putting in an amazing effort and showing the true spirit "Tada gun irracht" - nothing without effort! Full competition results are available here.
