It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Last year I wrote about why this month is important to me. And here we are again, honoring those who lost the fight and those who continue fighting as survivors. I'll be including facts and tidbits about breast cancer and how it touches us all with each blog post this month. Additionally, I'll be pestering you, our WCFM community, to join the cause by participating in or donating to our 2nd Annual Barbells for Boobs Fundraiser Competition.


If you don't plan on competing, then please consider donating to one of our athletes or to our gym's team page. All proceeds benefit the Mammograms in Action grant program, which provides FREE breast cancer screenings to those otherwise unable to afford them. This is a non-profit that truly turns your donation into action. Thanks to everyone that has signed up or donated already. We are well on our way to reaching our fundraising goal, if not hopefully exceeding it!
