VETERAN'S DAY
We are open 8 AM to 12 PM ONLY for open gym.

A guest post for own very own veteran, Coach Jacob

Athletes,

Today is a special day. Veterans Day celebrates everyone that has served in the armed forces. It coincides with other holidays such as Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, which are celebrated in other parts of the world and also mark the anniversary of the end of World War I. Although Memorial Day officially memorializes people that have died fighting for the country, Veterans Day is another day in which we can remember extreme sacrifice. Today's workout recognizes an Air Force Officer I had the privilege of serving with at Macdill Air Force Base in Florida. Lt. Helton volunteered to extend his deployment to Baghdad, and that decision ultimately cost him his life. When the going gets tough today (which it will), look at this WOD as a celebration of movement and life, and embrace the hardship. Joe most certainly did the same.

WOD
3 Rounds For Time
Run 800 m
30 KB Squat cleans (53/35)
