The CrossFit Open is coming! While most of us are not elite athletes, the CrossFit Open is a fantastic opportunity to measure where you are - fitness-wise - in relation to the rest of the CrossFit Community. Even more than that - it's just plain fun to experience the thrill of expecting the unexpected as the workouts are released each week. Over the course of 5 weeks five different CrossFit Open WODs will be released. We will be doing these WODs as our gym's WOD every Friday throughout the course of the CrossFit Open. If you register for the Open, as 13 of our athletes already have (including Coach Jacob, Trainers Ryan and Kyle, and Yours Truly), then you can perform the Open WOD for the week with a certified judge during the WOD on Fridays or any time during open gym on Saturdays. Just be sure to give us a head's up on when you would like to perform the WOD so we are sure to have a certified judge available.

Additionally, if you are interested in attending the CrossFit Games Regionals competition for the North Central Region (that's us!), which happen May 9-11 in Chicago, let us know. As the Regionals get closer we'll look into coordinating an outing.
