NO OPEN GYM

From Coach Jacob:
We've had a surge of new people in the box as of late (which is awesome btw), and I want to make sure everyone knows the story behind why we save the hero WOD "Helton" for special occasions.

I was fortunate enough to serve with Lt Joe Helton at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL from 2007-2009. Joe was a couple of years younger than me, but you could tell that people gravitated toward him, and he was well on his way to becoming a high speed Security Forces officer. Unfortunately, Joe's time on this Earth was cut short by a roadside bomb in Baghdad in 2009. Joe would have been stateside on this fateful day, but he volunteered to extend his deployment because he believed in what he was doing. Remember, Warriors, freedom isn't free. Ponder that when you're paying tribute to Joe.

Feel free to stay after the WOD for a cooler full of freedom brews.

WOD
3 rounds for time of:
Run 800 meters
30 Dumbbell squat cleans (50/35)
30 Burpees
