Barbells for Boobs 2014

TODAY IS THE DAY, WARRIORS!
Our 4th Annual Barbells for Boobs Fundraiser starts at 9 AM.
There will be Open Gym from 8-9 AM.
Your WOD Choices are below.

WOD Options
"Amazing Grace" 
Complete 30 clean & jerks for time 
[Rx'd: Men: 135#, Women: 95#. Scaled: Men: 95#, Women: 65#]

"Helen Meets Grace" 
Partners work to complete 3 Rounds of: 
Run 400 m (Partners run together)
21 KB swings
12 pullups, followed by 
30 clean & jerks for time. 
[Rx'd: Men: 53# KB, unassisted pullups, 135# barbell, Women: 35# KB, 95# barbell. Scaled: Men: 35# KB, jumping pullups, 95# barbell, Women: 25# KB, jumping pullups, 65# barbell].

[Rx'd ONLY: 135/95; top individual time under 10 minutes wins $50] 
***Movement Standards***
  • Clean & Jerk: Barbell begins on the ground. Touch and go. No bouncing. The barbell must come to full lockout overhead with the hips, knees and arms fully extended, and the bar directly over the heels. 
  • Kettlebell Swing:At the top of the swing, the kettlebell must be fully inverted (bell over the handle), centered over the feet with the hips and knees fully extended and the arms straight. At the bottom, the wrists must touch the thighs and the bell must pass behind the heels. There is no requirement for flexing the knees. 
  • Pullups: These are standard pull-ups. Full extension of the arms at the bottom, chin over the height of bar at the top. Any grip on the bar and any type of kipping are allowed.
