Corridor Recap, by Jacob Garvin

24 came, 24 conquered and had a blast in Iowa City. Several PRs were set as folks were 2 repping their old 1 rep maxes (or even more). Bench press is something we will be ramping up for the next three weeks, but it was nice for everyone to get some baseline numbers.

Congrats to Beth, Doug, Rachel, and Dan Fasse for winning the scaled division.  We joke about it, but with a couple of little tweaks, they would have been smack dab in the middle of the RX Division.

Congrats to Lisa, Kelli, Jortz, and Dirk Diggler for placing second in RX and winning the prestigious 'best KMart T-shirt' award.

For those that competed, think about the last 2 WODs and give yourself an honest diagnostic check of strengths and weaknesses. For me, I need to work on efficiency on the rower and 25 consecutive butterfly pull-ups. In the first competition I ever did three winters ago, I was no repped on several pull-ups. Thus, I made a pledge to not let it happen again. Everyone had weaknesses. Heck, the fittest man in the world was walking during a 3 mile run in the CrossFit games. Take note of these weaknesses and beat them to death.

Thanks to all of the people that came out to support our teams. Next up -- our very own Jan 24th Garage Games!
